Laser machine for removing tattoos effectively and safely. Thanks to the short, sharp pulses of light it emits, it breaks down tattoo pigments. It is also used to remove micropigmentation on eyebrows and lips. The ND YAG laser has been proven to be the most effective way to remove tattoos, as it emits light in a particular way in short, sharp pulses to break down tattoo pigments. They are absorbed by the pigments within the skin. This light energy is measured in nanometers (nm) and is emitted at a wavelength of 532nm, 1064nm or 1320nm.
- The 1064nm laser is mainly used to treat blue or black ink pigments on the skin. Its treatment tip is slightly shorter and has a mirror around the inside.
- 532nm laser tip is for red and brown tattoo pigment on skin. N.D. YAG is a type of Q-Switched laser that works best on red, blue and black pigment in tattoos.
- 1320nm laser can stimulate fibroblasts in the dermal layer.
