The individual needles of the cartridge run parallel along their entire length, as in the case of shaders, but the needle packs of the Open Liners are stiffer and the individual needles are sharper. All Cheyenne Safety Cartridges contain a patented safety membrane, which prevents blood and tattoo ink from entering the tattoo grip and the associated cross-contamination.
